At Developer Marketing Alliance, we understand the importance of feedback, as we’re always looking to improve our offerings – this includes our events!

Our Developer Marketing Summit in San Francisco was a huge success, which we couldn’t be happier about.

But you don’t have to just take our word for it – we asked our attendees their thoughts about the event both during and after, and here’s what Mike Stowe, Director of Developer Marketing at RingCentral, had to say.

How did you find the Developer Marketing Summit?

“It's been an incredible event. I was really impressed with the caliber of the speakers –  companies like Google, Atlassian, Cisco, and Gong, a former partner!”

What are your key takeaways from the event?

“There's been a lot of moments where it's like: “Wow, this is one way to look at things that maybe we haven't looked at before”. It’s an opportunity to give back to the team and look at how we drive this through our strategy.

But also, thinking about how to improve our learnings and incorporate some of the things that we've learned here.”

What did you like most about the event?

“So I think the cool thing, again, is just how approachable the speakers are. You have the session and there's so much knowledge there.

There's so much knowledge that happens in that thirty minute time frame when you can ask questions, but then you can approach the speakers afterwards.

You can ask them questions directly, have a conversation and engage them one on one, etc., which is where I think the learning continues.”

If you had to choose one word to describe the event, what would it be?

“Fantastic. Exciting. Incredible.”

We’ve got plenty more in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for events focused on marketing to technical audiences, developer relations (DevRel), and dev communities, where you’ll be able to grow your network, boost your skills and knowledge, and immerse yourself in the world of developer marketing.
